Lowry performs solo or in a trio or band format. Strident vocal harmonies and engaging rhythms are the hallmark of his latest trio which features Susann Richter on piano, accordion and vocals, and Jacques Legere on percussion, guitar and vocals. Paul Steenhuis on basses – standup, fretless and electric, as well as classical and electric guitars, rounds out the bottom end and provides the perfect accompaniment for Lowry’s songs.

As a festival performer, Lowry brings to the table his ability to work in multiple festival settings. From main stage to round-robin, themed workshops, he is equally comfortable as a moderator or participant.
A Perfect Addition to the Children’s Stages
Along with his adult-focused performances, Lowry is also a seasoned children’s performer. He has performed for over 50,000 school kids across western Canada as part of his school songwriting program From the Page to the Stage in One Day! Lowry’s kids show is the perfect addition to any festival’s children-centred workshops or concerts.
